Street Front Office

The West End-Coal Harbour Community Policing Centre services the entire West End of Vancouver from Burrard Street to Stanley Park and from Coal Harbour to English Bay. The office is not a satellite police station. It is operated, staffed and governed by members of your community. Each Vancouver Community Policing Centre involves local citizens in partnership with the police. Together we create crime prevention programs and community engagement initiatives to address your local crime and safety concerns. If you are not sure if your issue requires police attention, please stop by the office or call us at 604-717-2924 and ask. The WECHCPC volunteers and staff are knowledgeable in a variety of areas and work closely with:

  1. City of Vancouver representatives to address civic related concerns such as graffiti, garbage, abandoned vehicles, noise complaints, and damaged public property,
  2. ICBC to monitor your traffic related concerns,
  3. Business Improvement Associations to address issues impacting the economic viability of the business district.

The Street Front Office is also the hub for all CPC community projects and programs. At the office we can provide you with various pamphlets and leaflets on an assortment of topics, complete a Child Find ID Kit, engrave bicycles or personal property, assist you to find other community service providers, and refer you to outside agencies as necessary.

If you are a resident, business owner, or corporate entity with presence in our area of responsibility, and are interested in sponsoring a program listed above, please contact our CPC Executive Director at executivedirector@wechcpc.com. Without community investment, we would not be able to maintain the level of service we are known to deliver. Your contributions help us with everything from office equipment, foot and bike patrol essentials, uniforms, and the most basic necessities such as heat and power. Thank you to everyone who supports our Centre. We acknowledge the financial assistance of the Province of British of Columbia in our programming.
