Who We Are

We serve the entire West End of Vancouver from Burrard Street to Stanley Park and from Coal Harbour to English Bay. Our office opened in July 1997. Since then we have grown from an initial 4 volunteers to over 60 active volunteers. We are always looking for additional volunteers to assist with our programs so please visit our Volunteers Needed page to see how you can become a volunteer with us. We are a non-profit organization that works in partnership with ICBC and the Vancouver Police Department.

Our Community Policing Office is a place where our volunteers and police officers can work with the residents, business owners and the community to work on crime prevention planning and discuss concerns. Our foot, bike patrol and office coordinators work to organize community patrols and crime prevention programs in the community. Please visit our Programs page for a list of programs that we offer.

The men and women that volunteer with us, are dedicated to providing the best possible service to the community. We train all of our volunteers to be knowledgeable with all aspects of our operation. Many of our volunteers are interested in a career in policing, and are providing their time to gain policing experience.

Our organization is managed by our Board of Directors. Constable Kelly Risebrough works fulltime as our Neighbourhood Police Officer (NPO) and can regularly be found patrolling the West End and Coal Harbour neighbourhoods.
